    At 2300Z, the marine layer depth was 900 feet. The top of the
    inversion was near 2000 feet with a temperature of 33 degrees
    Celsius. Another weak inversion above this level had a top near
    3300 feet with a temperature of 39 degrees Celsius.
    The marine layer depth should increase tonight in the south
    coastal sections due to the formation of an eddy off the LA coast.
    LIFR conditions are expected along the Central Coast, with IFR
    conditions for the Ventura and L.A. coastal sites. Moderate to
    high confidence in categories but moderate confidence in timing of
    cigs arrival and dissipation.
    KLAX...Moderate confidence in the 00Z TAF. For tonight, moderate
    to high confidence in return of CIG/VSBY restrictions, most likely
    IFR but with a 20% chance of LIFR. Moderate confidence in timing
    with cigs arrival between 06-08Z and dissipation 15-18Z.
    KBUR...Moderate to high confidence in the 00Z TAF. There is a 30%
    chance of MVFR conditions developing after 10Z.
