    12Z TAFs
VFR conds are expected to prevail at all TAF sites through the
first half of the period. An approaching cold front, currently
near Little Rock, Arkansas, will move into the Mid-South by late
afternoon and stall out somewhere near the I-40 corridor. Ahead
of the front, isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will
be possible, mainly near JBR, MEM, and MKL.
There is still some uncertainty as to where the front will stall
out this afternoon. Nonetheless, expect mainly VCSH and VCTS with
the front. Winds will initially be from the southwest 5-8 kts,
and then shift northerly with the passage of the frontal boundary.
The front may stall over MEM and MKL near sundown, which would
result in weak and variable surface winds, impaired VSBYS, and low
CIGs. MVFR and IFR conds will be possible at MEM and MKL, with
    LIFR conds possible near sunrise.
