Morning MVFR/IFR stratus along a stalled boundary near the
Mason-Dixon will slowly lift through the early afternoon.
Shortwave passage should aid scattered shower and isolated
thunderstorm formation mainly south of I-70, which may briefly
    reduce vsbys and lower cigs.

Gradual NW to SE clearing is expected overnight as dry air and
subsidence erode stratus behind the exiting shortwave. Lingering
near sfc moisture may pose a fog threat at KMGW (lesser prob at
ZZV/HLG/LBE), depending on degree of pre-dawn clearing.
